Who we are
Our team is made up of professionals who are highly skilled and experienced in giving vaccinations to school aged children.
What we do
It’s important to protect your children against a number of dangerous infectious diseases.
The national vaccination programme means that diseases like polio have disappeared in the UK – this is only possible by maintaining the high vaccination rates for children and young people across our local communities.
Our team follows the national vaccination programme and offer vaccinations to protect against:
- Flu
- Meningococcal ACWY
- School leavers booster of Diphtheria
- Tetanus and Polio (Td/IPV)
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- MMR as required
- COVID-19

How to access the service
The vaccination programme is routinely delivered within schools. Schools will send an electronic consent (e-consent) form to all parents/carers to complete. Children of secondary school age may be able to give their own consent for the immunisation if they can demonstrate they fully understand the benefits and risks. Read more about our e-consent programme.
Following each programme our team offer ‘catch up’ clinics – details of these will be sent home if required. If your child is not attending school or is unable to attend a clinic our team offer home visits.
