Centralised booking service (CBS)

Centralised booking service (CBS) input referrals for the following services:

• Children’s Bladder and Bowel
• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK)
• Podiatry (foot care)
• Rehabilitation at home

CBS accept referrals for the above services from GPs, internal referrals, consultants, community nurses and out of area hospitals.

Referrals are not inputted on behalf of these services, however all initial appointments are booked by CBS via waiting lists.

Referral Process

Access to these services are via one single contact number Tel 0151 514 2222 – option 1. Available 7 days a week, 8.00am – 8.00pm.

We provide staff who cover reception duties at Eastham Walk in Centre between 12.00 – 8.00pm
7 days per week.

CBS also call handle for the following services:

• Podiatry (foot care)
• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK)
• GP Out of hours
• Community Nursing
• Teletriage service
• North West Ambulance service calls from paramedics who are with patients and are required to speak to a GP
